Reports say, however, that Misawa was rendered unconscious. The match was stopped and Misawa was administered to before being taken from the arena. He was declared dead at the hospital.

Misawa was a former high school and national wrestler who gained fame in the 1980s in professional wrestling as a character called the Tiger Mask. He unmasked in 1990 and became even more popular. Misawa was named professional wrestler of the year three times.

At the time of his death, he was the founder and owner of Pro Wrestling NOAH. Many publications characterize Misawa's popularity in Japan as comparable to Hulk Hogan or The Rock in the United States.

I started a new job at Willis Ventures as a graphic designer. It’s an investment real estate company. The people are cool and I am designing the web site for the company. Work doesn’t even seem like work because it’s so much fun. I can’t wait for the site to finish and launch it!

We completed Chains of Promathia Mission and got our ultimate rings in FFXI. This expansion is way underrated because most people gave up after several tries. The battles are tough and require different strategy each time. It was the most fun I had in this game.
Woohoo! My thesis has been approved! Finally got this done! So excited! Right now I am doing some freelance work for a Chinese American nonprofit organization and also doing some job hunting for a full time job.

On to some sad news, I just realized that one of my favorite Japanese wrestler passed away. Shinya Hashimoto was a Japanese professional wrestler. Along with Masahiro Chono and Keiji Mutoh, Hashimoto was dubbed one of the "Three Musketeers" that began competing in New Japan Pro Wrestling in the late 1980s and dominated the promotion in the 1990s. Hashimoto died of a brain aneurysm in Tokyo, Japan, on July 11, 2005. I haven't been able to keep up with the Japanese wrestling and this was very shocking.

All the girls from 96 look hotter than they were back then. :3

By the end of the night, Chris dared me to body slam Phat like the old days. Phat is around 249 lbs and BAM!!!!
The sky was dark orange with heavy smog. People gathered on the street with anticipation of something terrible that would strike upon humanity any minute. As I passed the crowd of spectators, I saw luminous lights beaming into the downtown district building and they start to crumble. The sky was filled with these lights and as I took a step back, it was a giant UFO towering over the entire city. Everyone was screaming and the whole city is in a panic. I ran towards my house through the dark tunnel of Broadway. I ran pass the ruins and ended up in a quiet pond. There were people who escaped the attack hoping to gather enough people to strike back. As they were planning out the strategy, a beam shot into their body and they all disintegrated. Then I woke up from this strange dream…

WTF!!!

I wasn't too fond of beating the crowd for firework this year so I end up drinking with Ah Chuen in the bar. When we drove back to her house, we realized that right behind her backyard there were firework celebrations from bunch of her neighbors. They do it every 4th of July. We should have stayed home to watch instead of going to Fishermen’s Wharf every year. >.

Ah Chuen brought me tickets to Wakin Chau Concert on Friday as Valentine's Day gift. The show was great! This is the second concert I’ve been to, first being Jacky Cheung many years ago. I am a huge Wakin Chau fan and his concert ROCKS!!! I clapped until my palms started bleeding. Hahaha! Maybe I exaggerated a bit, but it was very exciting indeed.

I have switched the web hosting provider for the photo gallery. I am using Flickr instead of Photobucket. The new host has a lot more features and it's very convenient to upload photos. And the best part is that you guys can leave comments on all your photos if you join Flickr. It's free.

I am getting overwhelmed by the workload and the freelance projects at hand. I really want to take a break. I barely play FFXI or Warcraft because my right wrist is hurting from working on the computer too long. Maybe I can relax a bit after I finish up some of the current projects. God, I need to get to the gym...too lazy and too many excuses...

As you can tell, I got too lazy to update the my website again. I am still waiting for the photos from a couple of trips so I can update the photo gallery. Lately, I have been busy working on some freelance design projects including a coupon postcard for the Kiki Sushi Restaurant. Yes, you do get 15% off the meal if you want get the coupon from me. Limited supplies left. The Links section has been updated as well, I took out most of the links that are no longer active.

Work has been very stressful and I am thinking about leaving the place. The money is way too low and I am working way too hard. I need to spend some time finishing my dad's book as it's getting closer to print. I got the new FFXI Expansion Chain of Promathia for Watoru (Qi) and Kuratu (Kevin) so I hope we can do some of the in-game missions soon. I can't wait to check out the cool cut scenes and the story lines.

The paint ball on Saturday was pretty fun, although the game area was much much smaller than what we were expecting. It didn't hurt as much as people claimed, but maybe it was because of the sucky rental guns. Here's a picture of me being captured by Chris.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/boss2000/sets/72057594063462888/

19 inch flat screen monitor...drool....

Hurray!!! I got to lv.60 Samurai in FFXI and looking sexy in the full AF. Watoru and Tazkh made their return back in FFXI and it was nice to party with the LS again. Although I didn't go to any long trip this summer, we have been doing lots of outdoor activities. I updated the photo gallery with our June Geoduck Hunt and BBQ/Fishing trip photos.

After designing the menu for Kitaro, their sister restaurant Kiki also asked me to design a coupon and some postcards for them. It’s nice to keep myself doing freelance work so I don’t lose touch with graphic design. I got a promotion from my stupid job and now doing project management stuff. My boss brought me a new 19 inch flat screen monitor for my desk and it look so nice. Man, I want to steal that thing home. ^^
